A 14-year-old girl was recovering in fair condition after she was shot in the leg early Monday in a home on the Northwest Side.
Around 3 a.m., officers responded to a person shot in the 3100 block of North Kolmar Avenue and found the girl shot in the calf, Chicago police said.
She was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in fair condition, police said.
Area 5 detectives were investigating.
